| BRITTLE OR DRY NAILS: |
|
| Easy peeling of the nails at the edges, breakage
and layering are the symptoms. Exposure to the harsh
chemicals found in the cleansing agents, frequent immersion
of fingers in water or lack of zinc and essential fatty
acids are the reasons that cause this problem. Check
your diet, wear gloves when cleaning, and take zinc. |
|
| HANG NAIL: |
|
| Due to the frequent exposure to water and due to
the lack of vitamin B and C in the diet, a tiny dead
skin lingers next to the fingernail. Don't pull this
dead skin, trim it carefully. Apply moisturizing lotion.
Consume foods rich in vitamin B such as brown rice
and green leafy vegetables and foods rich in vitamin
C like citrus foods and peppers. |
RIDGES: |
These can appear vertically or horizontally and
the result due to severe stress. These are also due
to poor nutritional value and poor iron deficiency. It
can also be because other family members had the same
things. ie:
Mother, Grandmother etc |
BACTERIA: |
It is often referred to as mold. It leaves a green,
greenish-black or yellowish stain on the nail. This
bacterium survives in moist and warm areas. If the
artificial nail has not been properly fixed, then moisture
gets trapped in between the layers and due to this,
there is a risk of infection. So when you
see this under your Gel or Acrylic nails, it is not "Fungus"
Or "Mold". It
is Bacteria. Fixing the nail and topical
Bacteria
removal will solve the issue. It might leave a
bit of a stain if it was severe, but generally you can't
even tell where it had been. Get your enhancements
fixed right away !! |
